Overview
The ESD5500E is a GAC ESD5500-series electronic closed-loop speed governor delivering up to 10 A continuous actuator current for demanding diesel and gas engine applications. Based on ESD5111 with added Overspeed Protection that shuts down the engine when MPU frequency exceeds the set threshold.

- Soft-Start Ramp — Programmable speed ramp eliminates startup smoke, reduces actuator current surge, and provides smooth engine acceleration
- 12/24V Dual Voltage — Auto-sensing 8–32V DC supply with reverse polarity protection for universal generator application
