Selection Advice
The GAVR-10A sits between the 8A and 12A, filling the 10-18kW power gap. It retains the GAVR-8A’s key advantages — 110/220/440V programmable voltage sensing (worldwide compatibility) and soft start — while providing 2A more current for generators in the 15-20kW range. If the generator is 10kW or below, the GAVR-8A is fully sufficient and more economical. If approaching or exceeding 20kW, skip the 10A and go directly to the GAVR-12A for adequate headroom. The 10A’s sweet spot is the 12-18kW range where the 8A would be running near its limit.
