Overview
The DER1 is an Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) that maintains the generator output voltage within precise limits by controlling the exciter field current. It continuously samples the generator output voltage and adjusts excitation to compensate for load changes, engine speed variations, and temperature drift.
Key Features
- Digital Regulation — Precise ±1% voltage control for stable generator output
- Ultra-Wide Sensing Range — 40-270VAC accommodates virtually all generator voltage configurations
- 1/3-Phase Sensing — Flexible input for single or three-phase generator systems
- Wide Frequency Range — 12-72Hz operation for variable-speed and standard generator applications
- 5A Continuous Output — High current capacity for large alternator excitation
- Extended Temperature Range — Reliable operation from -25°C to +70°C
- Compact Digital Design — Modern microprocessor-based control in a space-saving form factor
